About

Rachel Santino is a fiction editor specializing in Westerns and historical romance novels. Her services include transcript proofreading for court reporters.

There’s nothing she loves more than traveling throughout the West. She enjoys escaping to wide-open spaces where the smell of sage and watching wildlife can inspire and distract her for hours. She chases that same feeling when she’s editing books that take place in the Old West.

Rachel graduated with a degree in English and taught English in southern Japan many moons ago. Editing comes naturally to her. She enjoys helping authors publish high-caliber work. Let her be the last set of sharp eyes on all those dang pages you just wrote.

Rachel is a Virginian living in California. Her dad shared his love for reading Westerns, and her Texan stepdad inspired her love for armadillos. In her free time, she enjoys reading, swimming, and going on road trips in her camper van. She is a proud member of the Western Writers of America and Women Writing the West.
